Surface and core

Vintage Teak's racquet surface uses 3K carbon fibre, woven tightly enough to hold consistent stiffness across the hitting area. Underneath is an EVA 17 core, EVA meaning ethylene vinyl acetate, a white-cored foam set up for a medium sweet spot that balances power with control. A matte, sand-textured finish covers the surface, roughening it enough for the strings to bite into the ball and hold spin on faster shots. Together the carbon weave, EVA core and sanded texture give Teak the same modern base as the rest of the Vintage line, dressed in its wood-inspired striped finish.

The story

Sun-warmed wood

The Vintage Teak is inspired by the warm, honeyed woodwork found across vintage sport and travel. Its striped face recalls laminated wooden racquets, polished boat decks and timber dashboards, while the brown grip continues the material story through the hand. Set against the colours of clay courts, deep water and Mediterranean gardens, the design feels sun-warmed and lived-in rather than simply retro.

Beneath the wood-inspired finish, 3K carbon and an EVA 17 core deliver balanced control and response. A medium sweet spot supports versatility, while the sanded surface adds grip for precise placement and varied spin.
