Surface and core

Young Heritage Marine's racquet surface is built from fibreglass rather than carbon, a lighter material suited to younger players who need agility over raw stiffness. Underneath sits a soft EVA core, EVA meaning ethylene vinyl acetate, cushioned to make contact forgiving and comfortable while a young player's technique is still developing. The surface carries a glossy finish rather than a sanded one, chosen to keep the navy, red and pale blue stripes crisp rather than for spin generation. Compact proportions and the lightweight fibreglass build combine to keep the racquet easy to swing and reposition during fast rallies.
