Surface and core

The Lady's racquet surface uses 1K carbon fabric, chosen for consistent stiffness across the hitting area. Underneath sits an EVA 17 core, EVA meaning ethylene vinyl acetate, a foam tuned to keep the ball on the strings just long enough to place a shot with intent. The round frame widens the sweet spot, so contact away from centre still carries pace and direction rather than losing both. A sanded finish across the surface gives the strings grip to generate spin on faster exchanges. Together the shape, core and surface texture favour control without giving up pace.
