NOPA Founding story

NOPA has been created by Maikel and Kevin, a few months after a common friend had invited them to play padel for the first time. The game itself and the commradery on and off the court made them quickly fall in love with the game, but they felt that an aesthetically pleasing style was missing.

The Story Behind NOPA: It’s a racquet, not a racket  

NOPA was born from a shared passion for padel and a personal commitment to excellence. When Maikel and Kevin, introduced to padel by a mutual friend, played their first game, they were captivated by more than just the sport’s fast-paced excitement. It was the sense of camaraderie and connection both on and off the court that truly resonated with them.  


As they continued playing, however, they realised a gap in the market. The available gear and apparel, while functional, lacked the sophisticated and clean aesthetics they personally valued.
